Super Siberian Snow Season

Our winter may have been a little slow getting to us, but we are having an absolutely super Siberian snow season!

The savory smell of snow.

The savory smell of snow.

Our high yesterday was not quite 16ÂșF (-9ÂșC) with a nice little 20 mph breeze cooling things off. And, yes, constantly falling snow showers for the second day in a row.

Must run. Must run. Must run.

Must run. Must run. Must run.

When you are a Siberian Husky, there is no day better than a cold, dreary, not-fit-for-humans wintry day and we made the best of it.

It's perfect.

It’s perfect.

Based on the current forecast, we can expect at least another day of snow and will not see temperatures above freezing until some time next week.

But I don't want to come inside.

But I don’t want to come inside.

Hu-Dad checks on us regularly, but the great outdoors is where we want to be with such perfect weather. Even when napping.

Hu-Dad offered, but the napping weather was much better outside.

Hu-Dad offered, but the napping weather was much better outside.

For those dogs who need the shelter, let them inside on such cold days. For us, you can’t drag us inside.

Best day ever.

Best day ever.

The Typhoon fan club kicked it into gear and surpassed perennial Valentines winner Frankie in terms of total Valentines received to date – 82 – 52. And Typhoon’s contributions kicked him up to third place with $201 to Qannik’s $355 and Natasha’s $461. Total contributions to date are now at $1440! Our readers rock!

I literally cannot get my husky inside during this cold weather. Even when I convince her to come in she will start talking to me immediately wanting to go back out. It’s so different from my boxer. Love my Husky!

Love these pups. If the queen doesn’t want to come in, the queen doesn’t come in. Qannik makes a perfect snowball.

Mom sez: Ice ‘n Ebby would be SOOO happy to have what you’ve got. We have the colder temperatures, but NO snow to go along with them. You are so lucky. Enjoy for us, toooooowoooo!
