Saturday was our big photo shoot as we prepare for the Third Annual Valentine’s Hearts for the Herd Contest benefitting Sarge’s Animal Rescue Foundation.
We were greeted by the enthusiastic Youth of Sarge’s who are running this year’s contest and fundraiser. It is so awesome to meet so many caring, concerned youth who are willing to give up part of their Saturday to take care of homeless animals. We salute them and look forward to working with them throughout this year’s efforts.
We each posed with one of the Youth who will act as our individual sponsors. You will get to see those photos as the contest gets underway – and read the bios of us that are being written those sponsors as well.
We also are thrilled to announce that our cousins from the Herd Annex – Tartok and Ruby – will be a part of this year’s event as well! Yes, they joined us for the photo shoot.
A lot of work getting the event ready, but it is so worth it. Right, Typhoon?

Wings of Doom
December 12, 2024
A simple nightly routine with my dogs led me to face the wings of doom, a hideous creature that lurks in the shadows of my yard.
