Rain, Rain, And More Rain

We are entering day 4 of rain, rain, and more rain. “They” say sunshine is coming soon and we are so ready.

Sigh. Is it every going to stop? More rain

Sigh. Is it every going to stop?

We have entered December with much the same weather as we had in November – warm and rainy. Our temperature has barely moved 4 degrees in the last several days – all much too warm for snow. And the rain has been relentless with over an inch each and every day.

Just listen to it drumming down outside.

Just listen to it drumming down outside.

With so little snow and so much rain, there really is only one thing to do.

Practice our napping skills.

Just recently noticed how beautiful Cheoah is. (Still haven’t quite worked out how to pronounce ‘Cheoah’ though!)

It has been alternately hot and rainy here too, but we’re in summer…

CHE-o-ah . It is a Cherokee word meaning “otter.” Or pronounce it like we do – Cheesewhiz.

The cotton sponge never fails to soak up the rain.
