Surprise Visitors

With the title of today’s post, you would think that we had some surprise visitors at Chez Herd. But, no, the Hu-Dad went across the valley to our cousins house last night to visit with Tartok and Ruby (ok, and the Hu-Grandmom).

While he does visit there some, rarely does that happen on Sunday. But it seems that we have a holiday weekend here, so Monday is not a work day. Which is sort of strange for a day called labor day that the entire point is not to labor.

And, yes, you are probably getting the impression that our cousins are very good supervisors of the grilling process. They are also very good supervisors of the eating process.

What are you eating, Hu-Dad.

We hope everyone has a terrific Labor Day – whether you are not laboring in celebration or you are laboring because you live where it is not a day of celebration.
