Last night, the Hu-Grandmom came over to Chez Herd to have dinner. Typhoon provided table service, though we need to explain that a little.
For some odd reason, the humans decided to have dinner while we were outside. That never makes sense to us because how can we be social with Hu-Grandmom if we are stuck outside?
After they had finished dinner and cleared the dishes, they were sitting around the table chatting. Typhoon came in to say hello, but Hu-Grandmom was on the opposite side of the table.
No worries. Typhoon took the most direct route – straight up onto the top of the table where he sat and said hello to Hu-Grandmom. Hey, that was the fastest way to be eye to eye with the humans, but the humans were a little surprised that Typhoon had become the centerpiece.
