We continued our hiking with the herd along the Mountains to Sea Trail yesterday by covering the Mills River Vally to the Elk Pasture Gap stretch.
This is an easy stretch of the trail with minimal altitude changes and terrific views.
As we normally do, we hung out at the turn around point long enough to take a water break and made our way back to the Jeep.
The Hu-dad was quite pleased with the fact that we were all good and tired when we returned to the Jeep for our trip back to the house.
And, yes, the view from the parking area was pretty nice, too.
