Funny thing about canines and our attention span. Sometimes, we can focus on something for a very, very, very long time until we get what we want. And, sometimes, we fail to notice a significant detail. Take this little story to understand what we mean.

Please, please, please, I have been begging forever for you to come down and play a game of chase.

go over there — Oh, fine, I guess you aren’t going to give up. Go over there and we will chase.

how long — How long until he notices we aren’t chasing him any more?
