We would like to apologize in advance. You see, today is a very taxing day at Chez Herd.
Yes, this day comes once a year and is one of the most trying, difficult days there is. Hu-dad is stressed and papers are flying.
We dread this day. Hu-dad spends the day grumbling, moving paper, punching numbers in the computer, and, well, grumbling more.
Yes, yes, today is the day that Hu-dad tackles that dreaded 1040, the US Income Tax Form. And we all know that there is exactly one thing to do during this annual event.

Ice sez: Owoooooie, we know that feeling well! Our hu-Dad is an accountant, so every year, from about February 28th to April 30th is like that at our house. In fact, the hu-Mom says it’s become routine to “forget the hu-Dad even exists” during that time, except for feeding time and bed time!
