Six weeks have gone by since Cheoah’s TPLO surgery and she is getting very tired of extended crate rest. The Hu-dad suggested yesterday that take it up with the complain department and here was her response.
She has been enjoying her daily ten minute walk that we started this week. We are slowly rebuilding the strength in that leg so that she can return to normal activities (and get out of that crate!).

Requiem for a Rabbit
May 21, 2023
A poor bunny made a bad decision, so I wanted to pay my respects with a requiem for a rabbit. My dogs plotted their own event.

Thanks! I assume you know I wrote about it: http://cheerfulmonk.com/2014/11/22/no-complaining-fat-chance/
My heart goes out to you both. It must be hard to be confined for so long and not know why.
oh yeah, p.s. GREAT video!
pooooooor Cheesewiziepie!
the laying down makes it, so she can point her snoot in the air and prolong the pointing out, that she’s SUFFERING!
from BOOOOOREDOOM! her hips look pretty good from here, and she sounds pretty good too from here too, (but i am not trying to get any work done) Best wishes to all of you!
OMG I can’t imagine what that was like (is like) with two of them. Soooo cute but they are sooo frustrated. Soon back to work in peace we hope. Hope Ty doesn’t break any more of the family or cause re-injury once they are loose again.
AWWW, How can you resist, hu-dad?
While that is funny for a few minutes, all day must be maddening! Sympathies to both Cheoh and the hu-dad.
Has to be very difficult going through this recovery with them since they don’t understand why they’re being confined. You all have my empathy.
Oh my goodness Cheoah. I most certainly could not resist you. I would crawl into that crate with you and hug you and love you to pieces. You are just so adorable, but you want to get better right? You have to be a good girl for a little bit longer. It is what is best for you. Hug and kisses to the herd especially to Cheoah.
Ice sez: Awwwooooooo, poor Cheoah. When Mom turned up the sound, I looked all over for her, and would’ve willingly climbed right into her cage with her to keep her company. I might have even sung with her.
