Cheoah is now only one week away from her first post-surgery x-rays – which hopefully will result in her release to begin short leashed walks and the discontinuance of the dreaded sling. She has begun to express displeasure at her crate time and insists she is ready to go, so everyone within earshot is hoping for good results next Monday.
As you saw in yesterday’s post, Natasha’s walks are beginning to lengthen in duration. She is already doing 3 walks a day. Assuming things continue to progress, she will be able to use a longer lead next week which will allow her to explore a little more during our walks.
All in all, good results for everyone. The Hu-dad does ask for ear plugs to deal with Cheoah’s yammering about the injustice of it all.

Mom sez: Oh my goodness, if that isn’t the most pathetic sight you’ve ever seen! Poor, poor Cheoah! You’ve almost got ME in tears! Pretty soon, Cheoah, pretty soon. I’m sure there’ll still be lots of winter left for you to enjoy after this next few weeks is over!
