Yes, The Herd is dreaming of more snow. Our first storm of the season is almost melted, though we have a chance for an inch or so tonight and another light dusting later this weekend. Don’t worry, Frankie and Typhoon, more snow is coming.

The dog didn’t eat my homework, but exploding oatmeal and broken water lines sure interfered with my novel writing this week.

Mom sez: We HAD about six inches of snow last weekend, and Ice was so delighted, out rolling in it, and playing “snowplow”. Then it warmed up, and most of it melted. What’s left is all hard crust, and poor Ice is disgusted with what’s left. We’re supposed to get more about the middle of this coming week, but still not “serious” winter by the look of it. Hope the Herd has a decent snowfall soon, just for Frankie and Ty!
Ugh – I am glad we haven’t seen any of the white stuff yet!
