Last week, we told you how we stayed at the house all weekend while the humans worked on a project. We decided that we needed a change of scenery this week.

Wings of Doom
December 12, 2024
A simple nightly routine with my dogs led me to face the wings of doom, a hideous creature that lurks in the shadows of my yard.
Sibes are all about a change of scenery!

You have a dryer for your dogs, the forced air type? Wet them down good, work hair conditioner into their coat (do not rinse out!) and blow dry against the way the hair grows – do this OUTSIDE!! Will remove all undercoat as it dries. Groomers use this method on heavy undercoats – works fantastic.
A forced air dryer like this – http://www.jefferspet.com/air-force-commander-variable-control/camid/PET/cp/0040671/cn/100135/ There are ones that cost more, and some less, I bought a used one from a person who shows Siberians, works great!! A must for anyone with more than one dog!
Donna – Yes, we use the Air Force Commander (and often just with a dry coat – still works well). Believe it or not, Natasha received the blower treatment just Friday morning – but that is an eternity ago in Sibe Blowing Coat time.
Are my favorites beginning to show a bit of age? (Kiska and the queen.)? And looks like the second summer she’d is well under way. Well the birds love it!too bad you can’t just take the house shed and put it along the back fence too. You’ll have the warmest birds and they may not decide to leave for winter!
Our pups have been insisting we do the same – I guess I’d better quit reading blogs and go take them out! 🙂
Have a great Sunday.
