RVing at Lee State Park

We are off on another RV adventure.  Our first stop was Lee State Park in Bishopville, SC.  We were looking for a good, clean RV area just off the interstate and have to say we are very impressed with this South Carolina State Park (and we always seem to be impressed with how well South Carolina maintains their state parks).  The park is clean, camp sites are reasonably spaced out, and there are plenty of walks for us (a Tired Sibe is critically important to achieve when we are sharing an RV).

And the park has a real bonus – it is an equine park.  That’s right, many of the camping spots include a corral so that people can bring their horses, camp out, and enjoy the many trails.  We are quite the fans of Big Dogs, so we loved camping here.

settled in

Settled in to our spacious campsite for the evening.

cousins are here

Yes, our cousins Tartok and Ruby are in the next camp site!

Yes, our hu-grandmom is making the trip in her RV as well. She has recovered well from her knee replacement surgery and this is her first RV trip since the surgery!

big dog next door

Look at the big dog in the campsite next to us!

tired

But we were so tired from our walk around the park that we didn’t react much.

threshold

Well, some of us have a different threshold for tired.

I love the ‘Fast and the Furriest’ tire cover! Very cool campground! I’ll have to recommend it to my brother and his family!

We are wondering how many miles of walking does it take to tire out a Sibe?
