Tartok Tuesday – Reading Material

Innocent until proven guilty

Innocent until proven guilty!

For today’s post, we are going to the other side of the valley and the hu-grandmom’s house. Everyone assumes that any tale of mischief over at The Herd Annex is bound to be about Ruby, but not this time. Today’s tale is about Tartok.

Tartok is an extremely trustworthy boy. Unlike his sister, Ruby, he never counter-surfs. Oh, sure, he might like to share a snack if you are offering, but he is quite well behaved.

We should also explain the Tartok loves his kingdom. In the photograph below, he is positioned in a favorite spot. The picture is taken from the road below the Herd Annex’s house. The house sits on a point and the road curves around the house on three sides. Thus, from the vantage point, Tartok has quite the view.

Tracking all movement.

The hu-grandmom was cleaning the porch one day when Tartok stepped outside through the dog door. Both dog and human were surprised at the other’s presence – and the fact that Tartok had a magazine hanging from his mouth. Upon investigation, we have discovered that Tartok – polite, well-behaved Tartok – has been acquiring items from inside the house and burying them in the yard. A phone. A shoe. And magazines. Lots of magazines. Apparently, Sir Tartok has needed some reading material while he mans his sentry post.

shocked

You found all of this in the yard? I am shocked, I tell you, shocked.

Is there an attorney-at-claw in the audience?

O my… Tartok! That is IMPRESSIVE!!! I never thought teu take things outside! Silly me… I just move things around the house!

We are still laughing! And I love what Zoe and Marilyn said… “It’s always the quiet ones.”

Hummmm it does sound like a sibe to do the destructive, secretive behavior … How ever, maybe,we are not giving him the favor of doubt……Suppose he’s a big fan of the Brits. He,beaing the well bread gentleman that he is,likes to read the magazines out on the veranda. He then, beaings he well behaved gentleman he is,beleaves in recycling, and so,disposes of said magazines in the encouraged manner to better his land over time. This beaing spoken in the most sinsear of defence of the gentledogs past good behavior and mannerly disposition.

BOL – that is too funny. Mom thinks she had better go check our yard to see if we have a stash of goods out there too:)

OMD, now that is hilarious! But…it is always good to have some reading material on hand…or on paw.

Hmph, we fail to see what the problem is. Seems like a pawfectly understandable stash to us. Our mom has retrieved at least 6 pairs of reading glasses (well, mostly in pieces) from our cache – perhaps we can send them to Tartok to add to his reading library.

LOL. Tartok wants both the pleasures of outside and the comforts of inside. Apparently, if you bring enough inside stuff, out, you can combine the two.

Mom ‘n Ice BOTH think this is priceless! At least it doesn’t look as though he’s chewing them up. Just STORING them up to read on those long, rainy, spring days when there’s nothing to do outside!

LMAO is all I can say. Hugs and kisses to the herd and Ruby and a great big hug and kiss to Tartok.
