Like most of the rest of the US, we had another cold day Tuesday. Of course, that didn’t really stop us from our normal activities at Chez Herd. The only difference was that the hu-dad monitored us closely to make sure we weren’t too cold and kept our water buckets from freezing up. As always, we could come inside any time we wanted, but, frankly, it was perfect Siberian weather.
The youngsters hanging out in the yard watching the skiers over at Cataloochee Ski (seen just behind the Tree of Life).
Ok, maybe it was more napping in the sun than watching skiers.
Meanwhile, Queen Natasha the Evil was chasing Qannik around.
Run, Q-Tip, Run.
Kiska, the Fun Police, showed up to calm down the noise.
And, of course, we had periodic Perimeter Security Alerts.
All in all, just a normal day at Chez Herd, despite the cold temperatures.

it is perfect Sibe weather thats for sure! Although where I am (Canada Ontario) it has gotten beyond cold a couple days , and with all the ice outside it has hurt my girls paws a couple times where they start holding up one leg at a time to get them off the ground……so you know it’s to cold when your huskies feet hurt lol But other then those few days, it has been great for them this year!

Well This is Herd Weather for a Siberian Husy! and Officer Kiska reminds our mom of her Lab Lilly, that Halted all fun and games. Mom swears that each dog has a job. Some are Police dogs and some are Detectives etc. Were in Michigan and at 14 below zero and are mom is complaing cause we keep going in and out and in and out! and Molly our Blind~Chow sisfur wants to lay out side for hours! So even Blind doggies have a job. Mollys job is to Keep The neighbors 8 feral Cats scared. She smells them. Enjoy the Artic Blast! Your Fur Coats are going to double because that’s how Mother Natures works to keep you warm <3
