Sweet Picture Saturday

No story today, just a sweet picture. But we think it speaks volumes of how much of a velcro dog Frankie is to the hu-dad.

Huskie’s are such great bonders without ‘dogging’ you, (like my lab mixes,) who follow me everywhere, but then I rescued them right off the street.

We think you scored as much as Frankie did when he came to The Herd! He seems the perfect mix of snuggly lap dog, calm dog, and crazy play with his musketeers dog. We <3 Frankie.

Frankie remains my favorite though Typhoon so often steals the show.

    Such a sweetie!!

Ayla sez – OMG, what a wonderful picture of “complete adoration”! Those eyes say it all! That’s the same way I look at my hu-Mom, and so does Ice.

A Shark Attacked My Best Friend

June 20, 2025 - In honor of the 50th anniversary of the theatrical debut of the movie Jaws, the film that was the inspiration for these events, D. K. Wall recorded the story in audio and video. The original story was posted on October 9, 2022.

A shark attacked my best friend when I was 11. His screams were awful. The silence that followed was worse. I was alone in the ocean.

Enjoy it your way
