How to Contain a Typhoon

Typhoon learned a valuable lesson Saturday evening. Racing around the house and generally causing havoc, it was determined that he needed to be closely supervised by the hu-dad – even though the hu-dad was doing some work in the study. And exactly how do you contain a Typhoon?

can't get to them

I can see the others in the den, but I can’t get to them.

contain a Typhoon

Egads! I am trapped inside the study.

Nice wood trim around those pretty doors. Wouldn’t last too long in my house if my two sibes were locked in there.

We are laughing that he is living up to his name!

Wild Dingo got it right TY, but even round doorknobs can be opened by husky teeth applied carefully, just start practicing, then next time you will be ready. Ask QNTE, I am sure she can demonstrate the finer points! ^..^

Uh oh…Typhoon, looks like you are given a puzzle to solve… you may not be able to escape today but there’ll be a next time.

Um, Ty, heads up (literally, put your head up), See those door handles? Those are for rookie husky owners. One jump and one paw on them and you’re free to go about and create mayhem in the Herd Household. Your Welcome.

When I try to get work done I usually lock them outside our study! 😀

I see Typhoon learning to use a crowbar or some other way to make up for the lack of opposable thumbs in the very near future!

I can tell just from the way he’s standing that Typhoon is quite puzzled by his new “circumstances.” Hu-dad is smart, young Typhoon! A lesson best learned quickly!

Ayla sez: Hmmm, looks like Ty is learning what a “time out” is. Me ‘n Ice learned that one many years ago.
