A Question

Frankie

Why do humans insist on waking you up to tell you it is time to go to bed?

Usually because I’d like to sleep in my spot on the bed, so I have to wake Leena up to move her so I can goto bed 😛

I know! I usually stay downstairs and refuse to go upstairs for bed until I hear Mom getting a treat out of the container she keeps in her nightstand. If I have to wake up, at least I want a treat!

The humans just don’t believe you can sleep properly without them there to cuddle you. I love to sleep on the end of my hu-Mom’s bed, but Ice prefers the carpet. lying ACROSS the bedroom doorway so no monsters can get past him and do bodily harm to the hu-Mom and Dad in the middle of the night.

Elmo and Mouse raise their paws in agreement.

BOL – because they don’t want you to panic when you wake up and they aren’t there!

Frankie, I haven’t the slightest idea…my human does this to me too AND makes me get off the couch just to go get on the bed. Where is the logic?????

Because humans are insecure little children who need their best friend to be right by them for important events…like going to sleep (so bestest friend can slay the monsters everyone knows lurk under the bed, in the closet and just outside the windows). LOL 🙂
