We spent much of our Sunday dodging rain storms, but this one caught us.
Of course we did not have the windows in the Jeep. We rarely put them in no matter what the weather.
So we might have hung out at this gas station for a while under the canopy. And a car wash a little later in the day.
The Queen says it is good to stay dry.
Though hu-dad did not always succeed in keeping us dry.
And hanging out at the car wash was much more boring than the gas station.
Apparently no one washes their car when it is raining – which means there were no visitors to stop and scratch our ears. Sigh.

I guess it is all in your perspective. To us in the drought lands, those scenes are SO lovely. Of course, we would have demanded a car picnic while waiting at the car wash or gas station!
Could you try to catch a bunch of that rain in the Jeep and then drive it up here? We’d really appreciate it!
