The Queen sometimes gets bored on a hike (this day on the closed Blue Ridge Parkway).
So sometimes she has to pick a little something up during the walks.
The rest of The Herd is just glad that it is not another 6 foot long branch
Just another hiking souvenir.

my dog does that too. every time we go for a walk, she always manages to bring something home

Just helping to fill up the firewood pile for the huDad.
We live near a tennis court and often the players hit the balls outside of the courts. Dakota used to love to find a stray ball and carry it all the way home without once dropping it. And then she never played with it but just had to bring home her treasure.

Teddy often brings souvenirs of his travels home with him. But mostly it’s by accident and usually whatever it is is attached to his pantaloons.
Well, you never know while on a hike if you might need a good stick for building a fire or digging a hole. She’s ready if you need it!
What a nice stick! Do you keep them somewhere special!? That should go on the mantle or something!

Our hu-Mom says our “big sister”, Kiah used to be the same as Natasha, and that when she (hu-Mom) gets to the Rainbow Bridge, she’ll find Kiah waiting there for her — with a stick (probably a tree branch) in her mouth,and “yodeling” in delight when they meet.
Everybody needs a good souvenir of a great trip! š
