The Way We Really Walk

The hu-dad insists on posting all of these pictures that show us walking calmly. We wanted to show you how our walks really happen. Ready?

Hey, Cheesewhiz, back off the Rooster Neck.

It is the Q-Tip flying tackle!

Get off my back, white fluffy boy.

I will use the patented Rusty the Vampire move on you.

Hey dad, Rusty is playing unfair!

Come on, make him play fair.

Ha-ha, Q-Tip, I got you again!

Haha, so cute. You are having too much fun at the beach.

I don’t understand… what’s a calm walk? I have no idea what that means. Is that a cat thing?

I can’t see a thing wrong with that. After all it is the beach.

I am sending Teddy to stay with you. He loves that kind of stuff.

HA HA — the truth is revealed! Holly and Rubi always have a little “play session” whenever we make the turn to head back to the car halfway thru our hikes. (They don’t do this on loops–just out-and-back trails!) Growling and shrieking, jumping and biting ensue for a few seconds. What horrible torture do nearby joggers and cyclists imagine these poor dogs are being subjected to?? (Mom typically laughs at how “cute” they are during their fake fights.)

Need to post more of these kind of photos, so we can show our hu-parents that we’re NOT the only ones who like to “act out” on our walks. After looking a most of your posts, with you all walking nice with the hu-Dad, me ‘n Ice keep getting “Now see, how come you two can’t behave like this — AND, there’s only two of you, and they have five or six at a time!”

Not walking perfectly? I am SHOCKED! I would never have thought that the three merrymakers of The Herd would possibly get up to such shenanigans. I guess somebody is glad that Frankie’s not on the red team! lol

Hah! Mom does that, too – when she posts pictures of us walking, she posts the good ones, not the ones where were are jumping 4 feet off the ground to get at the dog that is barking 4 streets over. She’s really no fun…. However, we’re really holding out for the photos where the hu-Dad is 1) being dragged behind a packed of crazed dogs, or 2) being drawn and quartered (or just quartered) as you all take off in opposite directions at once. Because we see that totally happening!

I agree with Khyra…that sure looks like our walking adventures with our 2 Siberians 🙂 Oakley’s version of the “Rusty the Vampire” move is called the “Alligator”. I love how Sibes are all so similar!!

Your Siberian readers knew the REAL story 😉
