Camping Neighbors

We really like Huntington Beach State Park for a number of reasons, but one of those is the wide, spacious campsites.  As you can imagine, when you are traveling with a number of dogs, it is great to have a little room between RV’s so everyone can enjoy their vacation.  Still, you will always notice what your neighbors are doing.

One of our many neighbors in the campground.

Though we really do not think that Natasha is bird watching this intently.

This feral cat seems to be the object of her attention.

Not sure who, but someone had set out some food for one of the feral cats who lives in the area.  The Herd was very distracted by these particular neighbors.

Very nice. Most of our ‘neighbors are much less friendly here in Arizona.

Have you ever encountered any alligators at the park?

Seen them in the marsh areas in the park, but not near the campground or where we walk.

That was nice of the neighbours! Feed the cats AND entertain the dogs.

Natasha seems to really have a particular interest in felines! I can’t wait to see the blog post where she meets one up close and personal!

Snow, where is the snow? What is a camping adventure without snow?

We are sure they are distracting, but it makes mom feel good to know someone cares about those kitties. 🙂 Glad you are having fun.

Totally agree! We prefer not to have neighbors too close…this year we ran into a snake (eeeekkkk) and two white rabbits! Thanks for sharing your vacation with us!!

Wings of Doom

A simple nightly routine with my dogs led me to face the wings of doom, a hideous creature that lurks in the shadows of my yard.
