Tired Thursday

Qannik warned me.

Rusty sure told me about it.

Cheoah even crashes from it.

Boy, do these humans believe in "A Tired Sibe is a Good Sibe."

Since we host our own website, we are responsible for creating the appropriate amount of security.  Due to an increase in spam comments (comments left on our website for the sole purpose of creating a higher SEO rank for another website OR, worse, – with malicious links enclosed), we had to add a new layer of spam defense to our comment system.  That COULD mean that when you post a comment, the comment may take a few minutes to appear on the website.  We apologize for the delay, but appreciate your understanding.

Worse, we found one of our friends comments got caught by the new system and blocked.  We were able to resolve that, but feel terrible that it happened.  If you find that a comment you posted did not appear, please click on the Contact Us link and send us a direct comment describing the problem.  We will gladly fix it as quickly as possible.

Oh, tired Sibes are indeed happy, relaxed Sibes…at least until their energy rises again! Love the pics – they all look so sweet…and sleepy!

Spammers are poopoo heads! Mum likes it when Teddy gets tired out too.

That is a big motto here too, but the Momster is struggling with making it happen now that she can’t get us out for walks.

    Sorry about the spammers.

We got a nasty spam yesterday too.

Have you gotten snow yet? We are ready for dog mushing here. I just don’t think I can pull a sled by myself, I need a pack!

Our parents believe that nonsense about “A tired Siberian” blah blah blah, too. What’s up with that?!?

PS: Please don’t feel bad about the spam blocking thing!!!

This is so true, Frankie – being a tired sibe makes for a happy family. You are so lucky to live where you do. It was so hot here all summer that Mom had a terrible time keeping me worn out – we couldn’t play in the backyard long or we would start to sizzle! So we are very glad to have cool temperatures again.

I keep telling her we need to move where the white fluffy stuff and mountains are. She agrees.

Hike, hike, hike! That’s all we read about here! Hiking thru the woods, hiking up the mountain, hiking by the ski slopes, always hiking to your tree…. No wonder woo pups are tired!

PS: had to change passwords recently due to an influx of spam in our email, what a shame all humans aren’t as nice as ours, isn’t it?

Frankie, I’m pretty sure they follow that rule very closely! You’d better rest up!

I’ve been hit by an unbelievable amount of spam lately, which fortunately is being caught by Akismet. Yesterday I had 190 in a two or three hour span. A word of warning, make sure that you’re keeping your website secure, too. Anyway, I feel your pain on the spam front!

Oh, yes, we live by that motto too! It requires a lot of work, especially when you have a very active teen-age dog around, but it’s worth it.

My Chihuahuas sleep all the time, except when they’re in the back yard trying to show the dogs in the next yard that they are tough enough to take them on (the dogs ion the next yard being ten times their size; one of them is also my Angel’s daughter). Daisy is quite the instigator, and Mojo… he’s a Mama’s Boy.

I’ve wondered on occasion when we might see Frankie’s picture on the side of the site with the others—not that he would or could ever replace the handsome Kodiak.

I do plan to update the pictures on the side of the blog and add Frankie, but it is something I just keep putting off. It will happen soon. I also need to update the header and that will take a little more since I am not the Photoshop king.

You have just reminded me – I meant to write about that too as I have introduced comment mod to stop annoying comments with links to commercial sites. Totally understand.

Have always believed & try to live by “a tired pup is a happy pup”. How true it is but also then have a happy hu-parent.
All the sibes look so happy & contented.

A tired rottie is a good rottie, too!!
