Is there any other way? I mean, you can’t monitor kitchen activity from a distance. The silly humans might drop something, and if you weren’t rightthere, you’d miss out!!!! πŸ˜€

The most commonly used phrase in our house is, “Get out of the kitchen!”

They could teach classes in kitchen monitoring!

Ruby – are you sure you are comfy like that? Mom says Ciara does that too – is that a “red” thing?

Hope all that focus brought some tasty rewards.

Woooo hooo – me’n Ice “focus” just like that every evening, when our hu-Dad and “Uncle Kyle” make their lunches for next day — waiting to score LETTUCE! We keep hoping that one night, they’ll just divide a whole head of lettuce and give us each half.

My most endearing quality to my dogs is that i am a messy cook. But i have very clean floors.

  15. jen on July 21, 2011 at 10:37 am

    impressive focus!

Focus is very important! I mean, it’s all part of kitchen safety right?!?!

  17. Ina in Alaska on July 21, 2011 at 9:57 am

At least they cannot sneak up and sit quietly directly underneath your feet (like Toby does at my house) so that if you move you trip over them…. I have learned to look down before moving whenever I am in my kitchen!

On the other hand floor cleanup is a breeze if some tasty morsel lands on the floor by mistake!

Love how Ruby sits!!!!!!! For patiently sitting there we hope you were rewarded!!!!!!!!

  22. Zoe on July 21, 2011 at 8:11 am

Ha ha, is that floor slippery, Ruby? I taste test peppers and carrots as often as I can.
