The Wet Look

Yesterday’s pictures showed us hiking in a little rain.  To answer the question asked a few times, no it did not start raining about halfway into our hike.  It was raining when we started.  Shrug.  A little weather does not slow us down.  Well, except for heat.  That we don’t like.

So after our hiking in the rain, we get back to the Jeep.  Oh, did we forget to put the windows in the Jeep?  We never seem to have those windows in.

Kiska smiles - even if she is sporting the wet look.

That wooly coat always looks good after a soaking.

Qannik may not look as happy, but that is mainly because he wanted to keep hiking and not get into the Jeep.

The wet doesn’t bother my two either, but like you guys they are not so keen on the heat. It gets in the way of ball playing for them which in Holly & Zac’s eyes is not good news…lol

Ciara and Thunder would do very well hiking along with The Herd – they love to be wet. Phantom – well, not so much, but he would guard the vehicle very well:)

Rain doesn’t slow us down, but humidity would for sure. I hope it was a nice cool rain and not one of those yucky muggy ones.

The wetter the better, especially when we can get up close to the human driver and do our shaking.

Our humans love the wet doggie smell when we come in from the rain. I bet the ride home was quite aromatic!

There is that beautiful girl with the Sweetheart forehead! I would be the one to give the wrong answer on the walk in the rain question. Gimme shelter!

I’m guessing that with a wet Herd, it might have been more agreeable to the human noses to have the windows out on the Jeep anyway! *grin* It looks like you must have had a rather satisfying hike!

Oh wow! You guys love water, huh? The jeep sure looks cozy for all of you.

We love Kiska’s smile! Shows how much fun you guys had hiking in the rain.

Be sure you use a good conditioner, you don’t want to look bad in those photo sessions after the hike. Maybe you can hide the Jeep windows before they can put them back in, that way you can have the open air all year long.

    what’s a little water hu-dad? let’s keep hiking!

on another note, does Cheoah go all the way into water and swim or does she just wade? i have some many photos of juno wading in the lake and rivers. she loves it. i’d love to know if it was a sign that i could teach her to swim. she doesn’t exactly “hate’ the water treadmill, but she doesn’t love it eitehr… mainly because there’s lack of her own control (being in a tank and lowered in i think) but once in, she seems to like it. so i have to wonder if she would like to learn to swim and if cheaoh actually swims or just wades a little bit. does she get entirely wet or just a little bit like up to her belly?

We love sporting the wet look as well. A little rain or even a lot doesn’t slow us down!! One question: how in the world do you all fit in that Jeep?? Is that some crazy clown trick?? Or Rusty’s idea?? 🙂
