With all of the nominations in, we took a piece of paper and noted each entry (so a charity named several times had several pieces of paper).  And the Herd helped us select the finalists.

Cheoah found her finalist quickly and was reluctant to give it up to the humans.

Qannik also found his selection with speed (and tried to eat it).

Rusty found his piece of paper to be quite entertaining (are any of you surprised that Rusty turned it into a game?).

Kodiak said he wanted a belly rub rather than hunt for a finalist.

But he did go to work and make his choice.

Kiska also insisted on a belly rub as payment for that difficult work that was being asked of her.

And when she made her selection, she took it into her cave for safe keeping.

And, finally, the Queen made her nomination.

The hu-dad had his finalists, but was distracted by Natasha's shedding fur - so he spent a few minutes plucking Sibe fur before selecting our winner.

With the six finalists selected, the hu-dad selected one.  The winner is . . .

Joplin Humane Society – Nominated by The Op Pack

Absolutely loved your contest judges for working so hard on this one!

Stopping by on the blog hop today – check out my video about the tornadoes that hit the south. I volunteer at the Etowah Valley Humane Society and we have 5 dogs that were left homeless – Hoss, Heidi, Dozer and Goldie & Marley. They all need homes…

I thought you were going to say that you were finally going to mail the pile of floof to the winner! lol

I think you chose a very worthy cause, well, they all were, so you couldn’t have chosen a bad one! I know the devastation in Joplin is unbelievable right now. We have some friends in Search and Rescue who are down there right now searching for survivors and they’ve sent some really unbelievable pictures. That donation will really help!

What an incredibly scientific process with such able assistants. All of the candidates were most worthy but certainly the animals of Joplin have a special need…Congratulations to them and to the OP Pack for being their advocate!
