Good sign. Since we don’t have a “pet” rescue of our own, we would like to put our paws in for Golden Retriever Rescue of Houston in your 1000 post contest. Wow, mom says she can’t imagine that many. Good for you.

    Tucker and Daisy.

We want to add a vote for Husky Camp and we have to agree that it is a wonderful life and that Remy is a picnic table hog too and would dare the ranger to tell him to get off.

This group is awesome – in 2 years they’ve saved 250 huskies, far surpassing their original goal. And many of their dogs were sick or terminal, or had such severe behavioral problems that even the so-called “no kill” shelters didn’t know what to do with them. Love this group!!! And since they operate on a shoestring budget, every little cent counts!

  25. jack & moo on May 26, 2011 at 1:07 am

It is indeed a wonderful life. We’re counting our blessings here on the coast – no tornados, no floods, just a lot of rain & a little sunshine now & then. We donated to the Joplin Humane society tonight, so I guess that will be our daily submission.
