    These guys live in the woods, it could be a bear, a skunk, a bobcat, a deer . . .could be very big stuff.

    When we used to have Great Danes, many years ago, that alert expression meant “Oh no, dig in your heels and get a good grip on the leash – they are going to run!”. I sure hope your kids aren’t planning that!
