Project Day – The Prelude

Kodiak - We have some disturbing news from Chez Herd.

Cheoah - The hu-dad said some furry creatures did some damage to our dog area, and he had to spend part of Saturday doing some repairs.

Qannik - Hu-dad said something about it being a good thing that those furry creatures are cute.

Kiska - We don't know who those cute, furry creatures are, but I will use my perch to search for them.

Rusty - And I will be looking high and low for them. Especially high where those bugs are flying around.

Natasha - Focus, Rusty, focus. In the meantime, dear readers, tune in tomorrow to see what happened and the subsequent repair work.

We HATE it when squirrels or raccoons or badgers or rats or beavers break into our house and do damage. If you want to view true innocence come visit us today. We never, ever destroyed a thing!!

Wonder who on earth did the damage? I can’t imagine…

  9. houndstooth4 on March 6, 2011 at 2:55 pm

Was it marauding squirrels? Surely it wasn’t a herd of innocent Huskies! I mean, nobody would believe THAT had happened!

  10. The OP Pack on March 6, 2011 at 2:21 pm

Had to be the squirrels, right, Herd? And what happened was bad enough to take up a whole Saturday??? Yikes, we can’t wait to find out.

    Wow. What a mystery!
Hey, in other news, this doesn’t have anything to do with that funny expression our mom uses about “it’s a good thing God made Siberian Huskies so cute”, does it?

    Just curious.

Oh I’ll be tuning in. I won’t actually HAVE to tune in. Because I already know. And it’s NOT because I’m psychic.

ps. we walk in the rain. but you knew that!

  19. Pamela on March 6, 2011 at 3:23 am

You certainly know how to tell a story with pictures. What a cliffhanger.

I’ll be back to see the damage. I’m hoping it will make me feel better after seeing all the holes Honey made in my garden.

  20. Kathryn on March 6, 2011 at 2:14 am

Bad huskies. But they look so innocent.

  21. Stella on March 6, 2011 at 1:15 am

We are excited to hear who is responsible for the Hu-Dad having to blow much of a Good Saturday away on repairs but we will not be holding our breath!

And no, we don’t go walking in the rain. Stella with thanks to her lengthy incarceration in the Slammer, is able to hold her pee for several many hours, so she won’t even make a run for the backyard when its raining, or dripping off the eaves, or clouding up. Won’t do it.

    Cheers,
    Stella and Jo
