Wings of Doom

A simple nightly routine with my dogs led me to face the wings of doom, a hideous creature that lurks in the shadows of my yard.
Mom thinks that’s gorgeous! Me? I’ll bet you can smell for MILES up there!

I have to live in the most boring place, ever. There is nothing beautiful about it, and I long for that, long for nature to surround me with such loveliness. That is almost like a painting! Very lovely, absolutely gorgeous. Sigh.

I love that view. I always think that the dogs are enjoying the scents wafting from faraway at these viewpoints… since they don’t seem to look at the views!
