Visitors

Wow, did we have an action packed weekend or what?  We participated in the Worldwide Moment, the hu-dad’s shirt got run over by a train, and Ruby went into embezzlement.  So what else could possibly have happened to make this weekend even cooler?  How about some great visitors from Charleston!

Nia showing determination on the trail

Kody showing his handsomeness.

Don't you love those blue eyes and that pickle nose?

You may remember that we met Kody and Nia’s humans as one of our highlights of Charleston, but we did not get to meet the dynamic duo themselves.  Well, their humans paid a visit to our mountains and we did a meet up and a hike.  The hike was a lot of fun, but we also discovered that Kody was quite the ladies dog.  Care to venture a guess as to who he flirted with while walking with The Herd?  The answer is in tomorrow’s post!

Oh dear! I hate to admit I don’t know what a pickle nose is 🙁 Don’t tell anyone – I would hate for them to think I am uneducated!

Your company looks like they could become really good friends.

    Kisses,

We must concur with the group, and guess her Highness! We hope Kody was a proper gentleman. Isn’t it great to take furfriends hiking on YOUR turf?

It just had to be the Queen – and if that is correct, please do share her reaction. And we also need to know what the “nibbles” were:)

Two beautiful furiends there – so happy they were able to visit.

We have to vote for the Queen of evil too as Kody’s attempted conquest. Our question is how long until he had to talk to her paw.

The hu-parents definitely surprised us with this trip, we were stuck in the rollie thing for hours then let loose for a brief few minutes before we were stuffed back in. Little did we know the fun we were headed for!!!! We ended up on the BRP and it was nice and comfy.(temperature wise) Our humans grumbled about it being cold but they whine whenever it goes under 70. All of a sudden a jeep full of other sibes rolled up, Awesome. I (Kody) saw several gorgeous females to my liking. (Sissy just wanted to walk, imagine that!) We ended up hiking an awesome trail (pictures upcoming) and had great company. Nia loved the trail but I enjoyed the ladies company. Rusty was as cool as all of his posts imply, I can see hanging out with him at doggy parks and having cool drinks together. Everybody that we met were great and we can’t wait to do it again.

How’d the flatlanders hold up on the hike? I’m guessing Kody had a bad case of cursh on Natasha, did his damdest to ctch her eye and she kicked him to the curb…poor hansome guy!

  18. Anna the GSD on November 17, 2010 at 9:54 am

Kody does look like that Antonio Bandaras of dogs, you better watch him!!!

  19. Lynn on November 17, 2010 at 9:49 am

More gorgeous Sibes! Wonderful! I’m guessing Kody flirted with Kiska. Or the Queen. Or maybe it was the Cheoah! LOL Who knows? They’re all beautiful girls!

  20. Houndstooth on November 17, 2010 at 8:15 am

    Pickle nose! Ha ha ha!

My bet is that he was smitten with Kiska. Cheoah’s heart is taken and Natasha is too haughty and busy being queen. That’s my guess anyway!

  21. Yuri and Sheba's Mom on November 17, 2010 at 7:47 am

My guess is Miss Kiska. Fun pictures!

  22. Carolyn on November 17, 2010 at 7:36 am

Just to be ornery, I am going to say the CheezWhiz.

  23. Kari on November 17, 2010 at 7:16 am

I am gonna guess Natasha 🙂

  25. Wild Dingo on November 17, 2010 at 4:18 am

well, the least you could have done was drop some hints as to his personality or character so we could properly guess. i mean “ladies man” doesn’t do it enough… but i’m going with Queen Evil Natasha herself…

and yes, the pickle noses kill me. Juno’s is a “gum drop” nose though…

What two cool friends you had met! Can’t wait to read your next post!

  27. Life With Dogs on November 17, 2010 at 1:37 am

Are low country folk able to keep up with you at altitude?

  28. Holly and Khady on November 17, 2010 at 1:23 am

How exciting you got to hike with Nia and Kody! I always like a pickle nose too!

So, was Kody trying to flirt with the Queen?

Mud Freckles

January 10, 2009 |

Lots of snow, lots of rain, muddy roads, four-wheel drive, and an open jeep window.  This is when a dog should not hold their head out of the window, as demonstrated by Natasha and Kodiak as they show off their Mud Freckles.
