Always Too Many

Trying to get a picture of everypup is always challenging. Like here, where Kiska is off to the side.

Kiska is still missing and Tartok is playing with Ruby.

Kiska made it back, but Kodiak and Cheoah are now hiding.

Sorry, never got a group shot of everyone on a walk.  Will try on the next camp out.

If I was walking a group that large, I would end up needing a band-aid. I’m not that coordinated!

What is the priority here, walkin’ or posin’? I think the photos turned out amazingly well.

At first I thought you were gonna announce a new pup, with 7 dogs showing up, or maybe just couldn’t get the count right, but then I learned the cousins were along. You guys have the most interesting lives!

I’d love to see all the dogs (or at least your 6) in a posed, face-forward portrait! Boulder or no boulder! LOL

  14. Mimi & CC Cabana on November 4, 2010 at 9:59 am

A wide angle lens may be needed!

  15. Yuri and Sheba's Mom on November 4, 2010 at 9:49 am

Love the Rusty action in there!

  16. cate on November 4, 2010 at 9:38 am

We only have 6 but getting them all to be still long enough to gat them in one frame is TOUGH!

  17. Wild Dingo on November 4, 2010 at 9:38 am

I just read KB’s comment. I should start looking for boulders around here. if nordude can get in on it, well, we certainly can!

and for the record, i so don’t believe you have 8 dogs in these photos all at once. i think it was staged.

maybe the title should be 8 is enough?

  18. KB on November 4, 2010 at 9:15 am

You can never have too many dogs 🙂 But, I can imagine that getting 8 into one photo is near impossible. I have had great difficulty with three in the past. Two is doable, though.

Hmmm, I wonder if you could get all eight on a boulder… I could never beat that! Did you see that Norwood and Tales/Tails recently got in on the boulder posing act? We’re in big trouble.

  19. HuskyTraining on November 4, 2010 at 9:03 am

Yeah, I wonder the same thing too. How do you manage to walk all of them at once? Do they listen to you? What if there’s a fox or a cat on the road? Will you have difficulty to control them all?

  20. Cheryl, Indiana, Shingo & Molly on November 4, 2010 at 8:59 am

That’s the way it is at our house! It’s so hard to get all 8 of us in one shot!

Boy I thought I had my hands full on walks, but this is quite a picture. How do you walk them all at once, I can see something around your waist. I am always looking for ways to walk 3 hounds better to free my hands up for picture taking. HoundDogMom

  22. hisqueen on November 4, 2010 at 8:36 am

I spy a Rooster doing his favorite walk!!

  23. Houndstooth on November 4, 2010 at 6:55 am

I’m impressed! I know what a challenge it is to get four or five to cooperate! Eight must take special skill!

  24. Khumbu on November 4, 2010 at 6:47 am

woooo thats a hard job. Did you notice Rusty in picture 2 🙂
