Highlight of Charleston

While on our beach vacation last week (can you tell the hu-dad wishes he was still on vacation with all of these posts?), we traveled down to Charleston twice.  The first time, we discovered that the batteries on the camera were bad, but we did get some pictures the second time.  So do you want to know what the highlight of our Charleston visit was?

Walking on the Battery was great, but it was not the best.
Seeing big dogs pull carts with people was cool, but we get to see big dogs at home all of the time.
Drinking out of fountains was a lot of fun, but still not tops.
Seeing the squirrels that everyone else has (and we do not at the house) was a whole lot of fun, but it was still not tops.
Cheoah says meeting David P. was the coolest part of the Charleston trip.
Meeting Linda P. was cool, too, but David sure knows how to give belly rubs.
No, Kodiak, I am NOT ready to keep walking.

Attention all readers.  Please cross your paws and send your best vibes to our pal, Golden Boy Luke.  He is named after one of our hu-dad’s all time favorite movies, Cool Hand Luke, which is why we call him Cool Paws Luke.  The Luke is one of our favorite all-time canine bloggers and we love his great attitude on life (and that great attitude shared by his brother Bleu and his humans).  We laugh with his stories and have exchanged many messages via Facebook and email.

Well, The Luke has not been feeling well these past couple of weeks.  He needs the collective thoughts, prayers, and good wishes of the dog and cat blogging community.  Can you do us a little favor?  Can you take just a moment today, cross those paws, and send him your best?  We have been for quite some time but, frankly, we need a little more power here.  Thanks.

Luke - Rusty is doing his best Zen for you. Get better, pal.

We just realized we haven’t seen Luke updates on his blog in a bit. We’ll have to go see what’s up!

I think Cheoah and Bunny might be related! I’ve seen that pose many times!

There is nothing that can top a great tummy rub and a two handed one is awesome!!!

We knew that Luke had not been feeling well, but not being on FB, we hadn’t heard that things were not good. Thanks for sharing that, and our paws are crossed and Mom sends her prayers.

My K will collapse anywhere for a good belly rub so your Charleston photo made me smile bigtime!

We’re sending our paw power to Luke. If only we could somehow keep all our dogs healthy all the time. And have them live forever. That’s not asking too much, is it? Here’s to you Luke.

I’ve been nervous about Luke after getting his Facebook updates. He’s one of our old buds, so we need him to feel better and all will be right in the world.

I should have asked you to bring back a doggie bag. Charelston is a blessing for food lovers…
