What is in the Shadows?

Why is the Queen sitting and staring into the woods?

Is there really something out there?

Or is she just trying to psych us all out?

  2. Holly and Khady on September 2, 2010 at 11:34 pm

Who said Sibes aren’t good “watch” dogs? Looks like the queen is “watching” rather intently to me!!

I think she is playing the same little game we did as children. You know, look up at the sky and see how many other people will look up.

  9. Emma Rose and the Duchess on September 2, 2010 at 4:51 pm

I bet it is a rabbit!

  10. Jessee Osborne & Team SouthernSpirit on September 2, 2010 at 2:40 pm

Maybe a bunny? Mine sometimes do the staring thing if they can smell it but not directly see it. Does those little stakes hold your whole picket line? I have to use bull stakes (they weight about 8 pounds a peice and have to be slammed in using a sledge hammer) on mine. But then again I’m using a 8 dog picket for overnight camping trips and a bunch of wild bucking sled dogs LOL.. Love your stories!

Laughing. The other end is connected to the Jeep and the Herd is tired before going on the line.

  11. The OP Pack on September 2, 2010 at 2:36 pm

Ha – we like what Pamela said. Our best guess is rabbits – they are all over the place here.

  19. achieve1dream on September 2, 2010 at 9:50 am

    LOL I love Pamela’s comment.

I too was going to say that I think she’s practicing her telekinesis on the ground stake. 🙂

  20. Pamela on September 2, 2010 at 9:01 am

Do you think Natasha asks herself the same thing when she sees you staring at the computer?

  21. KB on September 2, 2010 at 8:55 am

Ooooh, we see lots of that staring into the shadows around here… which often escalates to low rumbling growling, then snarling, and finally ferocious barking.

    I bet it’s a squirrel!

  22. Sugar on September 2, 2010 at 8:35 am

Woof! Woof! Not sure … what is it? Lots of Golden Woofs, Sugar

  23. Houndstooth on September 2, 2010 at 8:12 am

My bet is that after she gets everyone to go check it out, she has a feast of pizza bones or something off the Hu-Dad’s plate!

  24. Minnie and Mack on September 2, 2010 at 7:48 am

    Definitely a squirrel…..or maybe a rabbit…..or deer…or raccoon…..or skunk…..or….or….too many wonderful things to imagine!

    Have a great day sightseeing.

    Drools and licks,.

Have you ever seen the movie Lady in the Water? Maybe she sees those grassy-furred Huskies (well, that’s what they looked like to me, except maybe 50 times larger)

  27. huskymom on September 2, 2010 at 1:32 am

She is practicing her telekinesis skills on the yellow flower.
