We were on one of those steep trails where the Forest Service used switchbacks on the trails to reduce erosion.
Pretty cool to pass the red team as they were working their way down the trail.
Just one technical problem.
We forgot that these are sled dogs who like to win races.
How did "they" get in front of us???
I would have wanted to go straight down too! Mom probably would have been on her backside. 🙂
Kat
Are there RULES? Do you HAVE to stay on the trail? Think outside the box, guys!
Those are a mountain biker’s dream – and a shortcutter’s best friend by the looks of it!
Okay, who drew the faulty map and led you the long way around?
Sonic
Did they take a shortcut??
Kisses and hugs

Great trail! I have the same problem with Kona. She’s always on the lookout over the switchbacks. Problem on our trails is they’re so loose, that she often pushes gravel and rocks off the slope towards the hikers below…
Race! It’s a race to the finish! Quick everypup, RUN!
haha…that is pretty funny. How did they win?
How fun!!! Next time the black and whites need to go first:)
Woos – Phantom, Thunder, and Ciara
Hurry, you guys! You can’t let the red team win!!!

And the red team wins! This time, anyway. I love the stair-step heads in the last photo.
Wooos! Mum tries to explain to me that every walkie is not a race, but yes it is!!!!!!

We know a little about that competitive spirit here. I just want to know who got to the bottom first!
That’s cute! What beautiful woods and a great trail – wish I could come along with you in those nice, thick, green woods! Looks so pretty! And you guys look like you are enjoying yourselves except for the other team beating you heheh!
Hugs xoxoxo

Your photos are brilliant.
That last photo is brillant! Never easy to lose out!
that looks a fun trip you took there! I like the last photo best of all!
They put those obstacles in your path to outwit you!
We reckon they cheated! There is no way they should be in front!!
Looks like a cool place anyways – we were thinking if there were four of us we would do better dragging our human – what do you think?
xxx
Well, someone has to be in front I guess.
