Switchbacks

We were on one of those steep trails where the Forest Service used switchbacks on the trails to reduce erosion.

Pretty cool to pass the red team as they were working their way down the trail.

Just one technical problem.

We forgot that these are sled dogs who like to win races.

How did "they" get in front of us???

    I would have wanted to go straight down too! Mom probably would have been on her backside. 🙂

    Great trail! I have the same problem with Kona. She’s always on the lookout over the switchbacks. Problem on our trails is they’re so loose, that she often pushes gravel and rocks off the slope towards the hikers below…
