On a Friday afternoon, an office boss is critically important to make sure that all of the work gets done before the weekend begins.
We hope to see all of our local fans in Downtown Waynesville, NC, at 10 am thisĀ morning for the Ninth Annual Downtown Dog Walk, a fundraiser for Sarge’s Animal Rescue Foundation. Ā Come on down and cheer all of the dogs as we parade down Main Street!

Wings of Doom
December 12, 2024
A simple nightly routine with my dogs led me to face the wings of doom, a hideous creature that lurks in the shadows of my yard.
Mom sez: Just curiosity on my part, but when QNTE gets up on her hind legs at your desk like that, what is she really after? Does she actually find something up there, or smell something up there? Do you keep “treats” hidden up there from/for them? Or is it just nosiness on her part? Jus’ wonderin’, because Ayla used to do the same thing.
Sheer nosiness.
I hope the weather is cool and lovely, and I hope the parade is successful! My Cocheta tries to help me work at home, but I create jewelry, a paw slapped into a pan of beads…… well, you can imagine. Sweep up the beads, pluck out the hairs, try and remember what you were working on, try to fin ‘it’…..got to go outside NOW, then run around the table refusing to go out, cat is now sitting in the beads, slinging them one by one across the room…she has a good arm….no, I don’t really have to go out – OH! yes I do….
