Terrible Siberian Weather

The weather has been absolutely terrible Siberian-wise this past week. 70F (20C) during the day, 30F (0C) at night, clear skies, light breeze, no precipitation - as seen by this picture of Cataloochee Ranch above us.

Look at this. You could actually SEE the sunset last night.

Ok, gang, gather around. We have to protect it. It could be the last of its kind.

Set up a perimeter. Keep the Snow Thief away!

Poor Sibes! At least you GOT snow this year! We wanted to see some so badly! My Grammy thinks that kind of weather is wonderful. That’s about what we’ve been having around here during the day but the night is warmer than that. The CCC

Sorry for you guys in the Herd. But oh, so happy for me, totally enjoying the early respite.

Ha! Don’t worry if your snow guarding fails, Herd. It happens to the best of Sibes. Is “summer” a forbidden word in your house?

So, Herd, does it ever get hotter than 70 degrees in Maggie Valley where you live? I mean, if you are having a hard time coping with 70, like we get up in the 90s. Maybe your Hu-dad will buy you a snow machine, you can make all kinds of piles of snow and lay in ’em. Get flavorings and make Sno Cones. You can manage.

    Kisses,
    Stella

It’s been awful here, too! It even got in the 80s. Horrible! At least you have a little patch of snow. Good thinking setting up a perimeter!

We don’t have any snow to protect here any more, but we have that same weather. A few days it was too hot and really zapped our energy since the humans didn’t turn on the a/c. But today will be stupendous here, highs in the 60s, sunny, and then dropping to some cool temps overnight. Now if only we could figure out how to add some snow to that mix. . . .

LOL – gathering round the last of it’s kind! I really feel for you all – mom’s so glad the snow is gone but I kind of miss it! I panted all day long yesterday! Already too hot!

As long as you have Snowflake, you’ll never have to worry about not having SNOW!

tee hee: poor Quannik. I love to tease him so!
