Woo – it has been a busy week, so we are just now getting around to talking about Saturday. Isn’t that crazy? Anyway, here was our Saturday.
News flash – Cataloochee has announced that they will be open through April 11. What a great season for our neighbors!
May not be earth shattering, but we do love our Saturday morning walks.

Hurricane Hugo Memories
September 21, 2024
Thirty-five years ago, a massive storm hammered our region and left a path of destruction, leaving us with Hurricane Hugo memories.
Nice views, and it’s always good to get out for walkies!
Your favorite tree looks much better with snow.
Kat
Wow – I didn’t realise you lived so close to a ski field…how cool is that! 😀

I like that last view best!

The tails tell it all! 🙂
I’m with you guys.. It may be the same walks or hikes but it is so nice to take long ones on the weekends. Ahhh!

Walkies can be very exciting. I appreciated all the photos especially the last one of my floofy furiends.
Twink!
I totally understand. It is just not Saturday without my trip to the Park! On another note, We’re halfway there–from now on the funds raised go to Khyra’s favorite charity in honor of the transport work her mom does! Don’t forget to leave a comment on Ben’s blog! It is worth $1 toward animal rescue: http://lifeon3legs.wordpress.com/2010/03/18/a-year-ago/ Thanks.
So why is it your favorite tree?
Sounds like a great Saturday!
Gosh I love your Saturday walks, too!
And what a special tree. My the Mom has all ways been fascinated with a tree’s skeleton in the winter time.
I wish we lived where you live!

nothing like seeing a bunch of pantyloons and jodhpurs on a saturday morning to wake you up!
What a contrast with the ski slopes and the ground around your tree. I’m sure you all miss your snow. Looks like a relaxing Saturday walk.
We love your walks. And we love your TREE! (Moma says … please do a collage, someday, of that tree through the seasons! It is spectacular.)
Jake and Fergs and Moma
That sure was a good Saturday morning walkie! and now your favorate tree is our favorate tree. Does it smell nice?
Wags and Woofs,

It seems like your snow disappeared pretty quickly! OUr ski spots are still open but down here in the valley we are preparing for the heat of summer! Yuck!
I think you should have stuck to walking and stayed out of the car! That does look like a great walk. Perhaps Natasha was gazing wistfully at the snow on the ski hill. It looks like Rusty even managed to walk in front with the rest of The Herd for a change!
That is far more relaxing than a car ride, no? 🙂
It looks like your ski areas may stay open longer than many of ours. How crazy is that?
I love saturdays because daddy’s home!
Wooo,
Togo
I love your Saturday morning walks too!
