I would match the black and white team perfectly. I like to weave while I walk too! ๐Ÿ™‚

You guys are a lot braver than we are. Even if we weren’t caring for our injured player, no way would we have ventured out among those heavy (falling) branches and limbs. Loved the video.

Oh! To go hiking in the snow with the Herd! Does the Herd need a herder? Can I tag along? PLease?
    Love,
    Ammy

That looks like a lovely walk. How many layers did your humans have on? If they are like mine, many. Humans need more fur.

No, thank YOU Thundering Herd for snow-walking instead of me! As much as I loved the video, I’m super glad I got to watch it from my heating pad.

I have never seen so many snow posts as I have in the last week. Makes me happy – and I can’t imagine how many content and tired dogs there are out there tonight. ๐Ÿ™‚

What a beautiful walk in a winter wonderland. Thanks for taking us along. Looks like the branches are super weighted down with the snow! I bet the creek is very very cold!

  8. Huffle Mawson on February 11, 2010 at 5:35 pm

I thought you guys were complaining you had no snow?

  9. Scout and Freyja on February 11, 2010 at 3:59 pm

Momma is always so ga-ga when she sees alla’ you’s guys walkin’ an’ not trippin’ you’s momma all over the place an’ makin’ her fall. We think we sense a little envy on her partโ˜บ

  10. The OP Pack on February 11, 2010 at 2:57 pm

We don’t get to take many walks in the winter so we love going along with all of you. 24 paws and all that crunching seems to be coming from the four human paws:)

Incredibly beautiful images of dogs in the falling snow! (Pups: do your pawrents ski?) – Mine love to do dat! With all those trees down, are you stuck in your home? Jes asking lots of questions today! But love that video and the stills – furry tranquil!
    Hugs xo

How beautiful!! Do you get alot of skiing in? We don’t and we live about a 30 minute drive from a ski resort! Sad, I know!

  15. Stella on February 11, 2010 at 10:04 am

Thanks for inviting us along! That must be a happy ski resort owner with all the snow and skiers.

Everytime I see ice-laden trees I think of the Robert Frost poem Birches! When the thaw starts and the ice starts coming down he says its like the inner dome of heaven has fallen!

    Cheers and hugs all around,

    Jo and Stella

I love the video. ๐Ÿ™‚ Do you mind my asking what video editing program you use? I’m looking for a new one, but have no idea where to start. ๐Ÿ™‚ Thanks!

That sure looks fury cold! Although, we don’t have as much fur as you guys do!

    Woofs and Kisses!

Thank you for coming by our blog! We enjoyed your snow walking video — looks like perfect weather for a Herd of Siberians! The scenery there is lovely. We woke up to snow today too, which is somewhat unusual for us….

It looks like that closed road is the perfect walking place in the winter! I kept wondering if you found any tracks… but then I realized that you had 24 paws walking ahead of you… that would make track-finding pretty tough!

  20. Houndstooth on February 11, 2010 at 8:08 am

It looks like you had quite the idyllic walk, at least as far as The Herd is concerned! Are you ever tempted to just get a sled and let them pull you down the path? I had to snicker when I saw Rusty starting to lag behind. It looks like he was getting ready to perform his head butt maneuver on you again!

  21. Martha and Bailey on February 11, 2010 at 7:11 am

That was a very busy ski slope! We have never seen so many chair lifts and skiers! We just loved the crunch of paw on frozen snow and the water was very relaxing.

I LOVE how QNTE pushes Snowflake around! hilarious. Snowflake (do you mind if i call him Snowflake? I mean he’s white. and he’s a flakey baywatch babe…), anyway, Snowflake tries to retaliate! cute.

it’s so cool you could see the skiiers. it seems like a great winter people-watching sport right in your own yard. Saw one guy fall, and chuckled…

  23. Holly and Khady on February 11, 2010 at 2:32 am

It all looks so beautiful! Amazing how much tree damage though.

I think your humans need to talk on video. They are too quiet!

I love the sound effects as much as the visuals. Poetry in motion. ๐Ÿ™‚
