Beach Trip

We had a fantastic Christmas Day and hope that all of you did as well.  But our hu-dad shared a special Christmas present for us – and, today, we start enjoying that present for the next week.  Here is hint # 1 –

Yes, that is the patented Cheoah S-RV face.  As our good friend Fiona knows, S-RV is our term for a “House on Wheels” – a Siberian Recreational Vehicle.  So we are taking off on yet another S-RV adventure.

Now here is the weird part. Our humans think that their world has had too much of this in it lately:

And they are wanting a week of this:

Yep – the beach.  Now we do not understand why you would leave snow for a week at the beach in the middle of winter.  What are the humans thinking?  But at least we get to go and play in the ocean and in sand and sit by a campfire and . . . wait, this sounds like it could be fun.  Bet we will be doing a lot of this:

We will keep you posted!

Here’s what I don’t get. We got a blizzard here, sub-zero temps, high winds 30-40 mph, and tons of snow. But our mom thinks that warm beach looks better. What gives?!!?

Oh, you silly Herd. I can think of a thousand reasons for leaving the snow for the beach.

Your humans are lame!!! NOTHING is better than snow!!!! I can’t believe they are taking you away from your wonderful snow to hang out on a warm beach!

Please feel free to come to my house! We have over a foot of fresh snow, and it’s still snowing!!!!

Thanks for visiting my blog. You all look like a great group, I would love to get to know you better. Hope you had a wonderful Christmas full of treats, love and marvelous surprises. I know it is not as appealing as snow but there are lots of fun things to do at the beach…like dig deep holes down to where the sand is wet and cool and then rest in it (and then shake the dried sand later all over your humans)! Remember, this time of year it is all about being together and family and love! Have a great time.

Now the Heeler’s being from Texas and not getting very much of that white stuff would sooner play in it but we know how human’s are, “It is so cold”
Enjoy your beach time… Find lots of sticks…

We finally got some snow – we aren’t going anywhere but sitting right here in this beautiful fluffy white cold stuff. Hope you all have a safe journey and lots of fun once you get there.

We waited and waited for snow, and now you are Leaving it?

I’m sorry there seems to be some problems with your hu-dads thinking. Why don’t you guys hold down the snow fort and let Dad take off for the beach. (Ug, jelly fish!)

Oh well, if you have to go, you have to go. Do your best to have some fun.

    Kisses,
    Stella

You all have fun at the beach! We’re thinking of heading south once our family takes off. A brief respite in warm weather is soooo nice! But, I can see that the Sibes would think that you’re crazy, abandoning the snow like that!

A little rest and relaxation. I hope you have a great time at the beach with your pawrents. Water is the 2nd best thing after snow, isn’t it?

    We love RV-ing!!!
Are you headed to the Atlantic or Gulf of Mexico?
We were telling Dad we’re ready to load up the RV and go looking for some snow, since it there’s none in the forecast. How much snow is left in North Carolina? We’re just down the road in Northeast Georgia…

um, err… are you comin’ to the West coast? cuz i’m thinkin’ we need some of that S-RV action packed fun. oh yeah.

Someone ought to tell Cheoah that if she keeps making that face it’s going to freeze that way.
