For those of you who do not remember this detail, Cheoah’s name means Otter in Cherokee. If you don’t remember the story of how Cheoah got her name, you can go here to read it. Go ahead. We will wait for you to come back.
Otter could not be a more appropriate name because of her incredible fondness for water. Since the weather was a little warm here this weekend, she decided she needed to cool off a little. Here is the result:
Hey, Dad, I washed the window for you
Even mopped the floor
Might need a little help mopping up the excess water though.
Oh, and Kodiak would like the water bucket refilled.

Wings of Doom
December 12, 2024
A simple nightly routine with my dogs led me to face the wings of doom, a hideous creature that lurks in the shadows of my yard.
Just wanted to let you know, you are 100% correct about the VideoPress plugin that I use! 🙂
Dat’s a very interesting story about your name, Cheoah! Thanks for sharing,
and great job on helping with the windows and floor cleaning. I do that to the human daddy’s car windows…but he thinks i still need more practice!!
Cheers,
Maxx
So what’s a little excess water? Just be thankful it isn’t mud!
Sadness here too at the loss of sweet Dakota.
Woos, the OP Pack
My great-aunt Maxine would have had great fun playing in the water with Cheoah. We were sorry to hear about Dakota too.

PS: We were so sorry to hear about Dakota!
Jack, the lab puppy, does the same trick at the dog park. Fortunately, he doesn’t do it at home and the people at the dog park think it’s cute!
I’m with Wild Dingo! I hate the water!
I’m so sorry to hear about Dakota.
Mochi
Sibes who like water… I’ll never understand it.
yes, we’re deeply sorry to lose such a gorgeous sibe in our little world. Though I didn’t know Dakota, its hard not to see how beautiful and sweet she was.

I think that Cheoah is part Labrador! Trying to hop into the water bowl, and slopping water everywhere, is a famous Labrador trick. Particularly a Labrador Puppy trick!
I love that Cheoah’s name accidentally is “otter”. Perfect.
