Wonder, Marco Polo and Thor

Sorry for all of the technical problems over the last couple of days.  I know I received emails from many of you saying you either could not access the blog at all or could not leave comments.  Our website host has been working hard over the last two days to get all services restored to all of its users and was rebooting the servers that The Thundering Herd website is on again early this morning.  Hopefully, we are back to normal.  Well, normal by Herd standards.

Some more pictures from the events on Friday at the Siberian Husky Club of America National Speciality.  A little late, but the day by day schedule can be found here and the winners are found here.

We spent the morning watching the show ring seeing Karen Ramstead (North Wapiti Kennels) as she showed NorthWapiti’s Wonder Woman.

We also drove out to the agility ring to watch as Thor ran the course.  So, unlike earlier in the week when we ran into Marco Polo and Thor, our hu-dad had his camera and got some pictures.

Wow! It looks like you are having such an awesome time, and are getting to meet some great people and Sibes! You even got to meet some of my “family”!!! I see you got the meet the famous Cap’n Maverick! Did you meet my grandma Penny too, and the rest of the D’Azul Sibes too??

And, the famous Karen Ramstead!!! We are so jealous! Mom does have one of her autographed North Wapiti coffee mugs and a REAL bootie worn by one of her Sibes during the 2006 Iditarod. She won them in an auction for SOS-SRF a couple years ago.

    We are so jealous!!

OMDawgs… I wandered over to Thor & Marco Polo’s blog… it was awesome! I love Marco Polo’s vid on agility where he blows off mom, and plays/paws with her instead! LOL. Then i noticed that the Herd was color co-ordinated. The red team leader was wearing a red tee shirt and the black/white team was wearing a black tee shirt. coincidence? Not! so cool!

Were you inspired to do agility like Thor? I think it looks like he’s the best!
