Substitute Navigator

We have told you before how Natasha is our resident navigator.  Her seat belt is immediately behind the passenger seat of the Jeep so that she can move between “her” window (shared with Rusty who only gets the window when she does not want it) and the middle of the front seat where she can make sure the driver does not make an error.  So imagine our surprise getting into the Jeep the other day and saw Kodiak in the critical space (he sits behind the driver seat):

Whoa – the cool seat AND a glass of ice tea

IMG_4333

Oops – gotta go.  I think she is coming.

IMG_4336

Who, me?  Whistle, whistle, whistle

IMG_4337

Has someone been in MY spot?

IMG_4341

Ok, driver, let’s go!

Aww, but she looks so sweet! 🙂 Did Kodiak at least get a sip of iced tea?

I’m so glad Kodiak moved. I too live with a bossy girl and I know how bad it is when said bossy girl pulls you by your fluffy tail so she can be where she wants to be (in our house, the bossy girl must be by mom.)

Oh how I love those expressions. Such an innocent Kodiak and such a supremely queenly Natasha.

At least Kodiak knew when to move. Those of us in charge (like Natasha) are only looking to be sure our underlings do what we want. As long as we are happy, they can remain happy.

Was that Queen Natasha’s tea sitting there? I think maybe caffein is the very last thing I would offer a Natasha type. I dunno, just sayin’.

They sure have worked out their pack order, haven’t they? Very courageous on Kodiak’s part, don’t you think? I love the innocent look afterwards!
