New Friend on the Trail

What a beautiful fall weekend.  The air was a little crisp, but the rains let up and we were able to enjoy lots of hiking.  Woooos for that.

At one of our spots this weekend, we got to meet this handsome fellow.  Unfortunately, our hu-dad totally forgot the boys name.  He remembers that he is a 9 month old male, but the name is just vapor.  Sigh.  These humans are so hard to train properly.

Hopefully the people with this handsome fellow will remember to check the blog and post a comment with his name so that we can share it with you.  In the meantime, enjoy the pictures:

So nice of you to visit our blog! Had to laugh, though. You have a herd of Siberians in North Carolina, and we have coonhounds and a bloodhound in Alaska! I’m sure people think you’re crazy, they certainly think we are! Looking forward to exploring your site. Love the names you’ve given the dogs. My sister lives on Kodiak Island, so I’m a bit partial to that one. You may be interested to know that my youngest daughter has been a dog musher. She sprint raced sled dogs for awhile. My older daughter announced the dog races, including ski-joring. Which brings me to a question- do you
bike-jor or ski-jor with your Siberians? A lot of people do up here.

We will be back to visit soon!

I read all the comments hoping that someone had mentioned the boy’s name but no. He’s a cute boy, whatever his name is!

Wow! what a PRETTY boy! Hopefully we can call him more than “just vapor” 😉

“Just Vapor”? That’s an odd name for a puppy.
    🙂
    Love,
    Ammy
PS: Just Vapor is VERY handsome!

He is a very handsome, young boy. We often forget the pup’s verbal names too but do remember their scent signature.

He IS handsome AND tall. He looks a bit like Mochi and Maxx.

It’s always nice to meet new furiends.

He is handsome – and still looks ‘leggy’ in that puppy way. Names turn to vapor for me too. But, more embarrassing, I usually remember the dog’s name but NOT the human’s.

Glad that you got in so much hiking. Lucky herd.

He’s a pretty nice looking guy! I hope that you all had some good hiking. I’m still babysitting the little sis!
