Requiem for a Rabbit
May 21, 2023
A poor bunny made a bad decision, so I wanted to pay my respects with a requiem for a rabbit. My dogs plotted their own event.

Missed A Rabbit By A Hare
In a fumble of Sibe Quentin security, Typhoon almost caught another rabbit, though Hu-Dad has kidded him that he missed it by a hare.
Poor Kiska! I know you were so excited for the Sarge’s Dog Walk!
Finally a Kiska post! Thursday is beer night Kiska! duh! it’s like better than friday.
What do you say we make a new rule? Every day is the weekend!
It’s just the opposite around here. Except in winter, we rarely leave home on weekends because the best places are just too crowded. Being retired, we have the luxury of taking weekday hikes. We also prefer winter for hiking. Snakes are gone, less underbrush for ticks, etc., and much better views of some of the rocky outcroppings. AND fewer people around.
Getting close. Maybe the humans need to take a day off so the weekend happens sooner.
Enjoy the wait, Kiska.
Urgh… I know why we need a calendar… we need to know when we will FINALLY get 100% of our parents’ attention! I can’t wait till Friday!
By the way, your ‘disappointed’ look is so cute!
Awww, don’t worry, Kiska! The weekend’s almost here!
You guys don’t need a calendar to know when it’s the weekend … just watch for the days when your humans seem very relaxed and/or sleep late. 😉
Tomorrow is Friday!!!!! Any big plans for the weekend?
Wooos! Calendar? All I need to know is it is time for a nap, walk or eat?

A wristwatch wouldn’t hurt either. Like when I say Walkies in an hour, supper is Always at 5pm, my bedtime is at least an hour or two later than yours.
It would be good for a dog to have a point of reference.
Kiska you look so pretty in those pics – so regal
yes we do need calendars – mommy actually keeps one on her iPhone especially for woodrow – he is a therapy dog and goes tons of places.
hope the weekend comes real soon – thanx again for all your assistance

We don’t need no stinkin’ khalendars!
It is the HUMANS that do!
PeeEssWoo: I am a very gentle eater but I tend to get excited with Fred and The Doggy Nanny treat giving time!
