A Whiff of Wildlife
January 29, 2023
An hour before sunrise. Darkness cloaked my path. Fear bubbled up inside me. A whiff of wildlife alerted me to a heinous stalker in the woods.
Way Back Wednesday
Each week, we reach back into our vault of over 4,700 previous posts and share a favorite. We hope you enjoy this look back.
Visit Millerton, a fictional small town near Asheville NC, via D.K. Wall's novels. Ordinary people. Extraordinary events.

Hey, what’s with the name Frying Pan? Great video, loved the music AND the flowers, but you know the pups are our favorite. Such a narrow path, how do you know your way in and out? Ever get lost?
We have to get our walks in before 0700 or after 2000 hours. Can we come over and hike with you guys?
LUv,
Dave

Looks like a fun hike with very pretty flowers. And such a well behaved herd!
The same saying works for Labs. A tired Lab is a good Lab.
That is soooo much better than my lame video with the babbling mom!
SO, did your humans use that frying pan fur anything good?

Khyra
PeeEssWoo: BeaWOOtiful flowers too!
Apparently, your humans must carry your water for you. I think that my parents are working me too hard since they make me carry our water and theirs.
Brice the Pack Mule
I see its 62 degrees in Maggie Valley tonight. Thats the same temp as it is here, I believe. If that walk was today, there are some pups having a very fine snooze tonight (maybe even some peoples!)
I am glad you had a good hike!
Kisses,
Stella
