Heat, Apples and Security Guards

We went on our early morning hike and it was already hot and humid – yuck!

Yesterday, our humans drove down into Ozzie territory – we went to the Mall of Georgia.  Now, our humans really do not go to malls very often, partially because there aren’t any in our town and we have to go to Asheville.  But also because there is not a lot in them that they enjoy.  But this one has an Apple store and our hu-dad wanted to get some stuff there.  He came out and said he had fun, but then groaned about a lighter wallet.  Wouldn’t it be better to carry something that is lighter?  They came out with bags, but there was nothing in there of interest to us.  Not even any apples.  What kind of store is that?

We did have fun though.  Our humans left the S-RV with the generator and air-conditioning running so that we could maintain Siberian temperatures.  A security guard left a note on the S-RV saying that we could not park an oversize vehicle in the mall parking lot.  But apparently we convinced him that it was ok since we pointed out that there were no other vehicles parked within a hundred of yards of the S-RV since our humans park at the far end of the parking lot.

And that is our plan for today.  Well, the air conditioning part.  Can’t speak to whether we will visit more apples or security guards.

P.S. – We tried to get Qannik to pose beside the Dalmatian, but he was scared of it.  If you are confused by that, please see this YouTube video.  We expect Bricey has something to say about this.

Brice is refusing to comment since I published the video of him being scared of the exhaust vent cover thingy.

And where did the rent-a-cop think you were going to park the RV????

I am so sad that we didn’t hook up. Usually when I go to a dog park, there are a bunch of us huskies all playing together and I imagine I am a member of the Herd or AO4. 🙂

J & K were working hard in the yard all day anyway. John tried to look cool with a chainsaw. Kelly pulled some big tree branches around in the yard. I just hung out in the AC wondering what all the fuss was about. And why on the hottest day of the year??? Silly hoomans.

Try to find something to chew on from that apple store anyway.

I’m very glad that my mum doesn’t take me with her to the Apple store – she always comes back with bags but with nothing for me and she spends AGES in there.

I hope you at least got some Happy Hearts cookies for being so patient.

I don’t understand why the apple store doesn’t sell apples…! How does that make any sense?! My daddy says he has an apple iphone, but I’ve never seen him talk into or to an apple… Hmmm… we’ve got to solve this mystery! I think the hoomans are getting jipped!

Wooo, silly Qannik,I am not afraid of much except for I have a deadly fear of metal folding chairs. Mo has no idea why.
Never been to a mall….did they let you inside?

Sadly for our bipeds, the closest Apple store to us is the one by the OP Pack’s house. That being said, they still seem to have cornered the market on Apple products…
    Crazy, isn’t it?

Qannik was probably confused by all the spots. We have an Apple store about 15 min. away. Mom is trying very hard to stay away because she is afraid she might cave and get that new iPhone. Hope your hu-dad found something good.

    Woos, the OP Pack
