We shared with you recently Natasha’s shedding pictures. She was quite incensed that we would display her unkept look, so, as a Sibe, she wants to make sure that we share pictures of her sister, Kiska. Kiska is particularly challenging because she is a wooly coat. So when she sheds, you get lots and lots of really long hair. Thus, seeing this means the explosion is about to begin:
The good news is that Kiska likes being brushed until you hit a tangle. The bad news, for anyone never blessed with a wooly coat, is that you hit tangles quite often. Sigh.

Hurricane Hugo Memories
September 21, 2024
Thirty-five years ago, a massive storm hammered our region and left a path of destruction, leaving us with Hurricane Hugo memories.
OMG, husky plucking is an obsession with me. How could you put such a tempting photo online? There should be laws against photos like this publicly online without a warning for plucking-obsessed sibe owners. I just want to reach my fingers through this monitor and pluck, pluck pluck!
We must have something wrong with us because we never get all tufty like that. Just little ones sometimes. I think it would be much more fun for our parents if we could get some wild tufts going on.
Kat
hey,
Don’t worry about your shedding Natasha and Kiska! You both still are so pretty! I had a horrible shedding season last year, but this year has not been so bad yet, just little puffs. My human likes to just pull them out – that annoys me!
I don’t mind the brushing so much. No shedding pics of me yet, but suffice it to say, I look a lot like both of you when my fur starts clumping off!
Good luck and hope it all sheds easily!
Suka
Mom would love to pull those out!!!
I think I’m done, so no more annoying plucking for me! 🙂
Mochi
R mommy calls us scuzzbuckets cuz we R still blowing R coat all over the rugs. Mommy & daddy will furminate us & hours later R fluff is still floating around R house.

They’re just keeping you honest.

I”m still blowing coat! I got back at my mom yesterday, though. You know – the Pluck-a-holic? She started plucking me again. Forgetting she had just painted her fingernails. Hee hee hee!
Love,
Ammy
We were at the park, and this strange lady stopped to visit us: and she started plucking tufts of hair! Can woo believe that? We were barely introduced and already she’s pulling tufts of beautiful white hair out. The nerve.
Simcha
I actually saw Momma’s hand move towards the screen.

Agreed! Every time I see a husky that’s shedding I wanna start plucking it. Guess I need to go get Storm and see if she has any that can be plucked.
You have the most gorgeous pack that I’ve ever seen!
WOW – this blowing coat thing is new to us – we are short furred and shed – but it is controlled by brushing.

We are all sitting on Mom here now to restrain her from reaching in and grabbing those giant fluffers. She plucked me all along our walk last night, saying the birds would be very happy with my fur.
Woos, TD
Pee Ess, I wasn’t too worried about Mom’s minor comment yesterday – I KNOW she was just talking about how I am just a bit stronger than Kira.
Furry nice look!
My mom wanted to reach thru the laptop monitor and plukhk plukhk plukhk!
I get subjekhted to some brushing each night at bedtime – we are working on THAT area in pawtikhular – and Like Kiska, I have a tolerance timetable fur dekhlaring the session over!

Khyra
