Tomorrow, we will show you some video of us walking in the middle of the storm (we are saving that for Walking Wednesday), but thought we would share some Monday pictures with you – the day after the storm. Nice warm day with a high of 23F (-5C), so we went for a long walk both in the morning and the evening – yay!
From our front porch with the sun rising behind us
Natasha, still hunting the thing from yesterday
Love how the snow is glistening in the sunrise (click to enlarge)
Kiska enjoying the snow walk with her sister
Rusty doing his high step
From our evening walk, Natasha (the stubborn) and Kiska still hunting
From the hill behind us, a picture of the sunset and our house. The mountain we see from our porch is to the right. We are, as they say, down in the hollar, which protects us from the winds.

Maybe my neighbors didn’t notice, but I took a walk on the trashy side last week and need to confess my mistake.
Way Back Wednesday
Each week, we reach back into our vault of over 4,700 previous posts and share a favorite. We hope you enjoy this look back.
Now that’s what I’m talking about! Snow is tons better than rain. I hope your snow doesn’t get taken by the snow thief any time soon!
